Crushed Optimists

We are twin brothers who grew up in Central Washington. This blog is devoted to the life of Seattle sports fans, as well as various other topics that we will espouse for your enjoyment. We could be called another OFFICIAL SEATTLE SEAHAWKS site, but we'll take our uneducated crack at the Mariners, Sonics, and Huskies as well. A Seattle Sports Blog? Must be the land... of crushed optimism!

John Clayton Surveys the Seahawks

John Clayton finally stops by Cheney, and, surprise, he likes the Seahawks offseason as well. That makes it 3/4 NFC West teams that he feels has a strong chance to win the division (the 49ers, obviously, have no chance).

Some highlights:

-- Clayton likes Dyson/Herndon and Darby as additions on defense.

-- D. Jack is dropping less balls, which I will believe by Week 8. Why is this guy complaining about his contract?

-- The subtraction of Koren Robinson might be the best move of the offseason.

-- Our new wide receiving corps should be solid.

-- The Seahawks did not have good team chemistry last year, but it looks improved this year.

-- The offense should, once again, click on all cylinders.
