Crushed Optimists

We are twin brothers who grew up in Central Washington. This blog is devoted to the life of Seattle sports fans, as well as various other topics that we will espouse for your enjoyment. We could be called another OFFICIAL SEATTLE SEAHAWKS site, but we'll take our uneducated crack at the Mariners, Sonics, and Huskies as well. A Seattle Sports Blog? Must be the land... of crushed optimism!

NBA age limit a good idea

The Couch Slouch has the economic point of view today... saying that if you are able to compete you should be able to compete. I guess I look at it from a fan's point of view, that the product out on the table sucks. It has nothing to do with the lure of college and everything to do with young idiots ruining the NBA. Maybe there can be an age exemption for studs, but I could care less. I want to see Robert Swift's pimply face in college for two years before he warms our bench with a goofy grin. Frankly, I think not having a limit has been bad for way more young men with poor advice than otherwise... how many one-hit wonders even in college have there been? More to come as this story progresses...
